Privacy Policy
Site48 is a website design service run by Oleksii Klievanov, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information we collect when you contact us, why we collect it, and your rights under UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).
What we collect
- Contact details: your name, phone number (when you message us on WhatsApp) and email address (when you use the form on our website).
- Your website and business information: the website address you send us, your business name, location and what you would like visitors to do. We visit the public pages of your website to prepare a redesign preview. We never access anything behind a login.
- Messages: the content of our conversation on WhatsApp or by email, so we can follow up on your request.
- Payment details: payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your card number.
- Website analytics: with your consent, the Meta Pixel (see “Cookies” below).
Why we use it
- To reply to you and prepare the free preview you asked for.
- To agree the scope and price of any paid work, deliver it, and provide support afterwards.
- To keep records required for accounting and tax purposes.
- With your consent, to measure which adverts bring visitors to our website.
Our legal bases are: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, performing our contract with you, our legitimate interest in running and improving the service, legal obligations (accounting), and your consent (analytics cookies).
WhatsApp and automated replies
When you message us on WhatsApp, your messages are processed by Meta under the WhatsApp Business terms. Some replies are prepared by an automated assistant. A person reviews every preview before it is sent to you, and you can ask to speak to a person at any time.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run the service: Meta (WhatsApp Business Platform), Stripe (payments), and AI providers (Anthropic, Google) that help us analyse your public website content and prepare designs. We share only what is needed for each purpose. We do not sell your information.
Cookies
Our website sets no cookies until you choose “Accept” in the cookie notice. If you accept, we load the Meta Pixel, which sets cookies to measure adverts. Your choice is stored in your browser and you can change it by clearing your site data. Declining does not affect anything on the website.
How long we keep it
Enquiry details and conversations are kept for up to 12 months after our last contact, unless you become a client. Client records are kept for 6 years to meet accounting requirements. Preview pages are unlisted and removed within 90 days if you do not go ahead.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to receive a copy in a portable format. You can withdraw consent at any time. To do this, message us on WhatsApp or use the form on our homepage. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
